Latest information about COVID vaccines
in Colorado With a new
administration in Washington DC, updated federal production and
distribution plans for COVID-19 vaccines are beginning to take shape,
with significant ramifications for Colorado and Arapahoe County.
This week, Governor Polis outlined his latest vaccine blueprint, which
was accompanied by the news that 7-day COVID case rates, along with
hospitalizations, have been declining fairly steadily since December.
His administration’s stated mission is to focus on the rapid deployment
of vaccines in a way that will save the most lives and put the pandemic
behind us. Initially, this means vaccinating a target of 70% of
Colorado’s 70-and-older population by the end of February. -Read Full Article -

Arapahoe County’s parks, trails and open spaces are funded by a
voter-supported, quarter-cent Open Space Sales and Use Tax? More than
62% of the tax revenues are distributed directly back to local agency
partners through our Shareback (50%) and Grants (12%) programs. This
funding makes critical projects possible—and contributes to a high

Changes coming to Arapahoe County
property tax statements Arapahoe
County property owners whose property taxes were paid through an escrow
account in 2020 will not receive a full tax statement this year.
A significant portion of residential property taxes are paid by
property owners who make payments into an escrow account, usually to
their mortgage company, which then forwards the amount of tax due to
